Steam Porblem.. plz help

Steam is ****ed up again.. I cant launch it.. when I try to start it, it keeps downloading the same 2 files every time.. MDMP files.. Steamexe__100282__2004_10_4T13_3_31C32777.mdmp :S
I tryed to reinstall steam and esf.. but it still happens.. what do I do ?

mdmp are memory dump files.
If it loads but crash after you restart your windows.
Either your computer has a virus or your cache file corrupted somehow.
If first install works and after restart it doesnt, that means something is wrong on your side.
Did you check for virus, and make sure your HDD is healthy ?

I cant check for virus.. my virus program wont start :S
and I cant reinstall it now.. someone else has the cd

you dont nead the CD to install steam and if you have an account you can even download HL but the CD-key must be registered

He ment his Antivirus CD, not steam. Try this online virus scan just incase. As for the HDD health i would try Norton Utilities if anything.
