good thx. but give the skinmap to me after you finished it i'll give it to the skinners (if you have the aim or msn of one of them you can of course give it to them yourself :] ). i don't want my model to become a practising model for everyone. i'll only let you sexyasian and toast skin it(and maybe someone else...). and i think 3-4 skin are enough. ppl can chose then.

well...sorry. it' really not bad but i don't like the style...too cartoonish alomost cellshaded. i tried to make the model a bit more realistic than cartoonish. so the skin should have a bit more shading to underline the mesh. sry

So what says i cant do that? That was just an early WIP skin anyway,
i didnt finish it cause school started and it was hecktic, now its calmed
down.... And i dont see how that looks cel-shaded, thats not
even close to cel-shaded. And you shouldnt judge a skinner by one skin

then post more pics of more realistic skins ;D . btw i said almost cellshaded :talk: . i meant the vewy low color variation (the shadow seems to be made with just one color)and it all looks almost like one color. that reminds me of cs.

and i have now other option then judge you by only that pic cuz that's the only one i know. so if you say you can do better it doesn't help cuz i just can't be sure. i really didn't wanna offend you and sorry when it sounded harsh but it is how it is: i don't like the style of the skin in the shown pic.

Well that model was on full emission, so you could see the skin. And when i made that skin i only used 2 colors of shading. I cant show any realism skins since i havnt got to get any practice on realism skin since everyone wants to see my previous realism skins, but i cant do that since i have none . Thats why i want to try to skin this model, realism for DBZ characters sucks anyway, looks lame. If you would let me i would skin this model and see how it goes with the whole realism thing, but thats not really my style.... your choice.

yes and i said no . no really. i didn't say i want a full realism skin but a skin with realistic shading (like every good skin should have). i just don't like those cartoony skins (like that guy called slim does f.ex.). and if i would've wanted that everyone can train his skinning skills on it i had released an SDK.

question to skinners

how well do you want the map for the hair to be done?
because i could make a map that will let you skin each chunk or something that lets you skin it as a blob, or i could even overlay each of the pieces onto one but it would take a lot longer

Well Mario, I wonder why I got "REJECTED". Im a good skinner... or am I not? .
And Yaglo, you should skinmap the hair in a sepertate skinmap. all in one group in sid facing the same direction. Super Veggeto's Style =D

you cant claim anything is someones style now, because without a doubt someone else has beening doing it just as long or longer

to answer the hair skinmap question, make it simple unless the modeler wants the hair detailed. I say keep the hair simple, and if i can't work with it, i'll just remap it
and i'm sure Godhand can kill any of us at skinning...from my personal experience of viewing his work.

it's a nice model to work with seems like. I'll enjoy skinning that sucker.

Why u dont start a skinning contest?
Thatsthe best way to check good skinners and there will be many versions of gokua nd everybody can take wich he want! also we can say that the goku wich someone skinned is to bad and we don like and that he shouldnt release it ^^ lol (maybe it would be mine i think)
