That doesn't look very good.
Look at his back in this picture it's bent. It looks like he has a bump.

I think this is one of the better goku models, the only thing that's bothering me are the sholders that are coming out way to far under the bleu shirt

"the only thing that's bothering me are the sholders that are coming out way to far under the bleu shirt"

good point. i'll fix that.

@coldsteel: i'll try that out and look if it's good.

yes the neck needs to flow a bit more down the back. but keep in mind that a big part of the so called bump is clothes. they're wrapped (don't know the word -> making folds).

Everything is perfect but the reason everyone is saying the hair is too small, the head is oddly sized, etc.

Is because he's too buff. Which is ironic because I like the DBZ characters looking stronger than usual. (To a point where I would edit the models by increasing the mass of their muscles for the hell of it)

In my eyes its fine, but when compared to those little refs there...the necks too big and his chest comes out too far...think the arms are good tho.

Keep it up.

Btw...weren't you the one with the god-like Super Buu...? I've been waiting...

no rush tho, I just remember how incredible it looked.

which ssj version is that? ssj has four spikes over his face, ssj2 has 3 spikes but are much more longer thinner spikes..

it looks nice, i just think the thickness of your spikes.. too many spikes and are pretty small.. thats what you have... try looking more into relationship wise of how big the spikes are in relation to the head.. the spikes that go over his face are probably as big as his ears.. but in the pictures they probably are much longer that are as long as half the face even.. but the form is there..

I say finish the rest of the model, then go back to tweaking the hair if need be.
It looks good though, eager to see the completed version.

@imkongkong: sry i was done with the new hair before i saw your drawover. but i also used the pics you posted before to build it. i used less spikes overall (i think) and some of the main spikes have a bit more polys. but look. i'm maybe makin him a lil tiny bit slimmer but look at the pic i posted before. i actually want him that buff ;) .

some renders and some ms3d pics cuz in the renders the hair looks sometimes a bit messy cuz of the shadows. maybe it looks more ssj2 than ssj now. but well who cares. it's ssj2 then. just used some pics but don't know if all were ssj.

loooooooooks a lot much better with the larger spikes, goood job m8.. wondering if you're going to make a normal goku to go along with that.. the arms look a little weird thoe, doesnt look true muscle shape.. u should see that darkswiwan guy wutever his name is on the stickies his arm tutorial or something, i think if u used it it would look much better.

You might have already said it, but what program are you modeling/rending it in? Those renders look horrible, but the model looks really nice. That doesnt look at all like a max render so i think your using milkshape or something. I would render it in max or if you dont have it let someone else render it for you.

The model itself looks awsome, i just wanna see some more done ^_^.
It looks as if your scared of doing the hands, and which modeler isnt? lol.
Thats just about the hardest part. But since you modeled the hair so well,
I dont think you will have any problem with the hands, the hair is just as
hard. Good luck with the rest of it.
