Spectator bug(?)

I was playing at thegamezone.nl server and i noticed that two players where killing nicely with melee, i decided to check the scoreing and noticed that they should be in spectator mode. So, is this an exploit of somekind?

i guess you could say its a bug. it puts u in free for all mode. you can attack anyone while in spectator mode.

It's not a bug.. It's like spectator mode where you play as a charecter in spectator

It is a bug. It isn't something you can normally do, you have to do something to play in spectator mode. However, this is very looked down upon because I understand that a few crashes can be caused by this. It is going to be removed for beta 1.2 I believe.
