well im trying to create a game for byond (yes byond...pshh) and i was wondering, are there any programs that allow you to convert a .mp3 or .wav into a polyphonic midi? (one that has more then one sound...not just a dumb piano)

or there could be another thing i could do, byond does play wavs, but whenever i find a nice .wav file that i like X-x its like 20 mb...is there anyway to decrease that file size?

Use a program called Goldwave (google it). Open whatever audio file you want in Goldwave, modify it to your heart's contents and save it to whatever format you want. Choosing different frequencies/kbpers/quality will affect your final file size. Obviously, compressed file types (example MPEG Layer 3) will have smaller file sizes than simple WAVE files.
