where do i put .rar maps when i download them?

You need WinRAR to extract the files inside

okay i extracted the maps to my maps folder in my esf folder. now all i have to do is take them out of the folder it put them in. can i uninstall winrar now?

You can if you want, but i recommend you keep WInRAR because there is a few more maps with a .rar extension

i tried to download the ape_arena file at esf-world.com and when i tried to extract it, it said something like error

can you be more specific with the error? When i tried it, there didn't seem to have an error

right when i clicked on the file to launch winrar to extract it and it said domestic message or something

try redownloading it again. If that doesn't work, then try extracting the file with WinZip

and a ton of different maps
one more question, do i only have winrar for a limited time?

you can use it as long as you want although if you are nice enough you can pay the guy who made it (but you don't have to)
