I gotta agree with Grega on remaking MetalGear 1 & 2 (from the ancient Nintendo days). This seems very plausible given we live in a society bent on making money.

Sorry to tell you guys, but Legendary, you are wrong...
First thing's first, Snake will not die from FOX-DIE as he was cured a while back thanks to NAOMI because he rescued her from the prison cell. Secondly, he has only 6 months to live, his "Rapid Clone Aging" is starting to show, as everyone can tell. And Kojima has stated that there will be more MGS games, but they will "Most Likely" not include Solid Snake. He has stated, that since he is giving the MGS Franchise to someone else for them to continue, that if they do not do a good job about it, he will take part in an MGS5 which he will expect to make in about 10 years if it isn't made. Great art should not be rushed I guess. If anyone tries to yell at me for spoiling the fact that Snake has 6 months to live...sorry to tell you it's been on all 20+ trailers. And yes, I own MOST PS2 Metal Gear Solid games,

And I am getting Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, since the "Rumor" of Snake dieing has been gnawing at my soul...for years.

Playing as old snake just has not sat well with me yet =(.

But after seeing a gameplay video for the first time, I can still expect awesomeness. I love the style of Metal Gear Solid. It's a very serious situation, but there are jokes and easter eggs aplenty. Snake used his camouflage to blend in with a statue and then one of the terrorists made that distinct "hmm?" sound. I'm gonna miss the series.

Curious, would you older MGS fans recommend I try Metal Gear: Solid 1? The graphics turn me off, but I still need to play that and Snake Eater.

MGS1 for the PS is by far the best IMO, Raiden killed MGS 2 for me and MGS 3 i dont know i guess i kinda lost intrest in MGS by then. So yeah play MGS 1 and If you dont like the PS graphics play the remake on the gamecube.

Hate to break it to you, self proclaimed "expert" but you're incorrect. Most people agree that Naomi curing Snake of FoxDIE is not canon. Just like Meryl dying in the alternate ending of MGS1 is not the canon ending.

It is all the more likely that Snake is still infected with FoxDIE, and it is still set to a wild card date.

Eh, no. I am a member on MGSForums, and geez...what do you think we talk about all day?
Just go there...and check under the heading "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots" you'll see the facts for yourself. And by the way, I have beaten all of the MGS games COUNTLESS times, so many times, I can beat MGS1 in one hour and 25 minutes, and the others pretty fast as well, just not MGS3 because I like to take my time and CQC.
As you can tell, it may as well be both Optimus Prime, remember the ending of MGS1 where Liquid dies because of his wild card date? Take it this way, I have just watched the latest E3 trailer of MGS4, and Naomi says...IN FACT QUOTE END QUOTE, "Snake, you have exactly six months left to live...six months Snake..." how would she know when the "WILD card" date is set to occur? She doesn't, because SHE REMEMBERS TURNING IT OFF. Oh, and she also says in a trailer, "That's why Ocelot has me working for him, because I KNOW HOW FOX-DIE WORKS!" HOW IT WORKS. That ends my speech.

However, yes just to brush up on your fact Gama, Kojima has in fact stated in an interview, there will be more Metal Gear Solid Games, but however, they will most likely not include SOLID Snake, *Emphasis on SOLID* or Raiden. Raiden since he is a Ninja, and there has been a recent trend with Ninjas, they all end up the same at the end of every MGS game....dead. Well good luck to Raiden, since in MGS4, he actually looks pretty awesome.
