u can do it yourself

just download the hl model viewer
and select the chrom effect in the sword texture ...

i tried that already and it doesnt look that good...

uh, i dont know where you have been lol but DBZ is a cartoon and its hard for animators to make swords appear shiney all the time......and last time i looked at a sword it was shiney.....I must agree with Mopageboy making it shiney would help the game out more....think about it his sword right now looks like one of those plastic ones you can buy at like wal-mart lol besides why does every little detail HAVE to be from the show? if its similar to the show without being something made up (like a made up move) then it would be as good idea......but this game is also trying to help bring DBZ to a more realistic world which hopefully swords shine and are not just plastic ones

well those pics dont look chrome but they dont look plastic either...but if u think about it, if they made the shape of the sword rather then a flat polygon and let the skin hand the 3d work then it would look better...

That chrome effect looks awful anyway. It would just deteriorate the quality of the model/skin in my opinion.

It does shine because you see that one part is darker than the other. Besides its a little harder to see it on cartoon.
