I'm making new skins for characters, but everytime i made one,
and i test it, it's just the normal skin...
My only edited skin that works is the one on the vegeta model.
Here's how i reskinned it:

-opened Milkshape
-clicked on decompile normal mdl file
-double clicked on the .bmp skin for the characters face
-edited with paint and Macromedia Flash MX 2004

...
And i tried that with many models,
but it doesn't work!
so i tried to seek an answer here...

You can reskin easily with Half Life Model Viewer. Just go to textures and export as a bitmap. Then reskin it and and import bitmap to see it.

Did you save your altered version over the existing? or made a new one. cause if you made a new one you gotta change the .QC file and change the file name of the texture. or you could just load the model into HLmodelviewer and change skins there.
Easy >;o
