Server Commands Aren't Working

I had an ESf 1.2 listen server up and running so me and my friend could play, and some guy that wouldn't leave me alone and wouldn't follow my server rules came in so, i tried to kick him it didn't work, i tried to ban him. Sometimes the kick will work with a few people I was wondering if there is program that prevents people from being kicked That didn't work, and also when i try to do free for all for my server it stays in team mode, so thats all i can do. Someone please help.

Those silly people that dont know.

First of all: if your server isnt on your machine your running, create a rcon_password for it. Then do the same command on yourslef.

Then do command users. (if its your machine, if it isnt use command rcon users)
Find the FIRST NUMBER.
then kick #firstnumber

If you want to ban, follow the First of all:, and skip to over here
users (rcon users same syntax as above)
Find the second number/word combonation
ban time number

Heres example of kick:
say im user 4
kick #4
and im gone (please note, the number changes every time I re-join)

Example of ban:
say im user number 5 now :O (cause I rejoined)
now your mad ;(
ban 5 STEAM_0:1:2342435

An other example:
I rejoin after 5 minutes, Im pissed and start reaking havoc ( OH NOES )
ban 0 STEAM_0:1:2342435

I may be off on the banning, cuase its been a while since I bothered to use rcon, and I dont know the steam syntax all that well. (but somethign tells me its just like won)

BTW, if you use won, the kikcing is the same, but the WONID is just numbers instead of letters and numbers (unless they are useing a Valve ID)

Hmm...I dunno. I performed the commands correctly, used the console in STEAM to check the syntax...and still people wouldn't get kicked OR banned from my server.

did you remember to check the USER NUMBER and do kick #usernumber

whne you do status, its the number to the RIGHT OF THE PERSON's NAME
when you do users its the FIRST NUMBER

Well.. do you have any solution why I can't do Free For All in my server? Each time I select it and start a new serv it changes it to team deathmatch... :S

you might want to edit your game.cfg

change the game mode to 0
