Like Phoenix said, Revolution was not the "name" for the system. It was the CODENAME. The system didn't have it's own name. They didn't "rename" it, they gave it a name to begin with.

Don't be silly pride....now....Xbox 360.......now that's the stupidest name for anything in the history of video gaming. It simply sounds so geekish and retarded, but i won't go far into that. And don't even let me get started on the gaming system that goes by the name of turbo grafx. Besides, people were doing the same thing their doing now, when the Sega Dreamcast name was revealed, and now it's said be one of the best gaming systems in gaming history.

Well...people will get over it within a few weeks. By E3, people probably won't even care anymore after they steal the show. And i don't know about anyone else, but i never heard of a gaming console name alienating anyone. If there was a case, then i couldn't of possibly been born during that time to know.

If some dude came up with an idea for a console; made kick ass games and sold them, they'd turn into a multi million/billion dollar company as well. Look at microsoft for example. They were one already but they started making games and look out it turned out.

Either way, the only show they're going to be stealing is the most outdated processors display, which will be rivaled only by their array of repeatedly re-released 8-bit game boys.

Forgive me if I sound bitter. I saw adult Link, and for a moment I saw a glimmer of hope that maybe those money-grubbing pigs had decided to throw me a frigging bone as a 20-something. I really thought they were going to turn around and have a balanced machine with something for everyone.

Nope. The name 'Wii' has proven to me just exactly who this machine is going to. I wonder if will come with a set of balloons and a stuffed animal. Maybe a frigging pacifier. I hope they make a baby blue one this time around, I want it to match my diaper. Do you think it will come with a cute lil bow around it?!

Well if you think they'll steal the show at E3 that's all well and good...with what, I don't know...maybe there will be a section that specializes in consoles built from refurbished parts from unsold predecessors (as that's all this POS is, anyway). Or maybe there will be a best pink console category or something, I dunno. Or maybe Most Uncooperative Media Format award. Either way this is weak.

Sometimes I just wish Americans would acctually care about the quality of the games rather then the graphics or how it will effect their "image" as a gamer =\.

Oh and a little food for thought, the most powerful system has never won the consol race, at least not yet...so it will be intresting to see if all that extra juice the PS3 is pumping will really be worth it against the 360 and wii.

I really dont care since the original nintendo is auctally FAMICOM, so just stop thinking too hard. Just because a word in a diffrent language sounds like something, it is not nessessarly true.

Personally, I probably won't get it due to the name. Unless it's dubbed the best video gaming console in history, then I'll consider it. Revolution was a perfect name, everyone still calls it that, and I mean, cmon, Revolution has a meaning to the thing.
