question on coloring

ok first of all if anyone feels like flaming me because im asking how to color then please go click back on your browser and find something else to do.

now my question.
how can you color a picture in photoshop ?
i mean that as in.. i draw a picture of someone. like a char from dbz or whatever but then i would like to have it coloured. so i scan it and have it on my pc. but... i dont know how i can colour it. so could anyone give me some links to websites/tutorials on how to do this ? i cant seem to find any because i dont know what it is called hehe

i'd be ever so gratefull because then i can finally colour my drawings without messing them up :laff:

Their is also a free program called open chat...it's very good for that kinda stuff but mostly for quick sketches and stuff. Also if you need any thing else you can talk to me.
