if u start another server, its gonna get crowded because chaos and loki arent holding up very well with the huge lag problems
i hate lag!!! ants pwn me now

its a private server. they dont know anything about it unless some one tells them
I have to manually give you the ip
and you have to give me your information to sign up for the server. I have to manually imput your nick name, password, sex, blah blah blah....
so it wont lag because i will have a limit of people i will allow to sign up

one more thing
ill be working on the server for the entire day tomorrow. I might get everything ready tomorrow. If I do Id like some people to help me test it. Will anyone be on around 3-6 pm eastern time to help me ?

Yes, I've seen some people revolting on the levels.
They tried to block the gates with Ice Pillars.
Well, they can cry about it, but it won't change a thing. We have to open our purses and give them some 'money'

ugh....setting up the server is a real pain in the ass. Damn setup is a serious resource hog. It took up so much resources I couldnt even open 'My Computer'. It might take longer then I thought.
I might just set it up at home instead. Much faster pc. only difference is not as many people can play because of my upload cap

just to let you know there is about 10+ different servers that manage the game, login, characters, etc. Plus there would be like no people on it I predict and I doubt you would have fast enough DSL to handle it. If you can get all that then it would be cool, it would be nice to have a server that you wouldn't have to pay for since ragnarok now costs money starting june first.

if my friend is right with the amount of data that has to be transfered too and from the server for a client to run lag free then i could support 40 people .

sorry just venting. This server is seriously getting on my nerves. Its giving me errors left right and center. And thats before I have to do anything hard. Not to mention it eats up resources like the cookie monster eats cookies. I dont even think my home pc can run this thing. And even if it could i wouldnt be able to play while it was running.

you have to edit a file in your RO folder.
You put in the servers IP and something else I cant remember off hand

Aegis is a RO emulator... is it not? Also known as RO offline.
Someone told me about Aegis and YARE in a chat room when they were talking about P2P...
I've tried... and YARE is a pain in the ass. Ima givin up... but if you'll host one, Im in for it
