If I were to... Shoot a beam off somebody would I bounce away from them? I noticed in an older picture that there was a mixed mode and others... Is that so you don't bounce off people with beam jump? You most likely have coded it so it only works with the ground but I'd justl ike to know >_>.

Im guessing that beam jump works like this :

1) You use generic beam to beam jump.
2) When you shoot generic beam, hold space bar to make the jump.
3) The jump will end if you have no more KI or the beam blows up.

*Just a guess... but this is my idea of how it will work. :)

I figured beam jump would just be secondary fire of the regular ki beam.

Im sure that they coded it somehow so that it only makes you jump when you are standing on the ground and the beam makes contact with the ground...and its possible that it only works with generic beam

My assumptions are it's the generic beams secondary fire.

while you are charging a beam, you hold secondary fire and it holds the beam at the current charge.

no **** lol of course it holds the beam if didnt know this you dont **** around enough with the mod lol
+ i like to add that you can stop chargeing the beam and then if still also wanna put more ki into it after holding you can do that also...

Then Dude what if the ESF team did it this way?

Primary Fire:
Generic Beam,To Hold Charge use Secondary fire and to detonate use Second while beam is flying

Secondary Fire:
Generic Beam with jump,To Hold Charge use Primary fire and to detonate use Primary while beam is flying

There all easy....

(Just an example i dont really know how beam jump works)

(HINT*They can use this for other secondary funtions for other characters ;) *Hint)

you shoot a beam at the ground turn fly off and then when the beam hits the ground you jump up

You will all find out how it works when beta 1.1 is out. It is very simple and FM you are wrong.

i think i really know how it works.... in the beta 1.1 movie, there is a part where it looks like trunks has this weird white aura on and it looks like he is charging it some how then he starts jumping up and doing beam jumps. I think u can do the beam jump with any beam but u have to charge that one thing first. i think that might be how it works

one thing that is weird with the video is that trunks has no attack select screen when he does those beam jumps, that white thing u talked about looks like the new charging aura/animation. Since trunks gets hi ki back when using it

it might be that, everytime u shoot a beam (or only a generic beam not sure) to the ground or a wall, it will not detonate but act like a beam jump, until u blow it up with secondary fire or when it hits a player. Looks like it in the vid..

Oh well I'm sure its something just like piccolos scater shot, where you click on your generic beam button (3) twice, and thats how it work >_> maybe... possible >_>...
