Problem with open beta not the bot problem

I downloaded the open beta a few days ago and when I get to the loading screen it exits after a few minutes. What is up with that?

Are you using Steam + Half-Life attached to it? Further than that. Are you attempting to do something specific that made you crash after a few minutes?

What video setting are you using? Are there any error messages that pop up after it closes?
