Problem with ESF

I have a legal Half Life and i install the last version of ESF. when I put to creat a server game, my program goind down. Why?

When you are creating a game in the game settings be sure to have your ports open, if they are not select the lan game box and it will work fine.

i'm tryng to play with bot! bcoz i can't play online....

If by the latest version you men the open beta. Then you cant use that with bots. Bots dont work with the open beta.

Just curious though. If you have a legit HL why not install it to STEAM and play online. I mean ESF is a MULTIplayer game

Well I have the first HL. STEAM need pay but if I have a original Key Am I can play? And last, the version which i have is 1.2.3 ( ESF )

Look if you have a legal Half Life just register the CD-key on STEAM. No need to pay or anything.

Steam is free to download.

On the left side there's a button that says "Get Steam Now Free Download"

Just click that.

Then once steam is installed click on the My Games tab, and look at this picture I did for you.

Once you click that, press Next twice, and then type in your Half Life cdkey.

Then reinstall ESF 1.2.3.

last problem. with version 1.1 i put esf bot 3.1 but this bot don't atk me. i try to configure it but i can't change anything. What can i do?

Did you by chance set the bots to ignore human players?

yeah, and my cd key i can't registry bcoz i was use this in 2001 =/ and i forget my acc

Try STEAM support. They should be able to get you your account back if you remember the e-mail you had it set to.

We're not going to give you another key. You're either going to have to e-mail Steam, or buy another copy of Half-Life.
