The story is a bit different and i can't say that i'm very impressed so far. The PoP games had such a great story.
What do you guys think?

The action in the movie probably won't be as cool as the one in the game but I can't wait. I hope they will make a Warrior Within movie too. Dahaka was just pure awesomeness. And the chicks were hot ^_^

Why they chose that gleynholl guy, im not too fond of him, don't know, I think they could do better with that cast, just look around the 6.8 billion people on earth.

I think it looks awesome. The visuals look amazing. Only thing I'm wondering about is why the English accents? Not that I have anything against English accents, but it just doesn't seem to fit.

It would be cool to see all the grapping/wall running really fast in a Live-Action sequence.

i've played the game and now there is going to be a "movie" well looks cool i just hope they dont stuf it up like they made crap out of "DragonBall Evolution"

I have a feeling that they might have "butchered" the story line.

At least it doesnt look so bad as the usual movies made out of games do, probably because it's a disney work.

Also the original creator of the game is helping make the film. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Meh, as with any manga/cartoon/anime/game movie to live action, it can never really truly be exactly like what its based on. Real life physics just don't allow it, and if you use any more CGI than they do already anyway, its a CGI movie, not live action. So of course its gonna be slightly different, the storyline was probably altered so that new fans could get into it as well as so it could fit into a 2 1/2 - 3 hour time block. Pretty sure your not gonna be able to fit all 20 hours of the games storyline into 3 hours and make it entertaining to watch.

Personally i think this movie looks decent enough to go see in theaters, the producer of pirates is producing it, as well as if what Barney said is true, the creator was involved, so it has some basis of hope to be semi decent. The latest trailer doesn't look that bad either. Who knows, it could suck balls like other game movies... (Dead or Alive, Alone in the Dark, Legend of Chun Li), but then again, it could be fantastic like the trailer portrays. All we can do is wait and see how it turns out.
