That's just kinda how it works. The heads don't really touch. Maybe they will in 1.1 with the reworked PS code, but that sounds normal to me. You will have to get some pictures to help me understand better though.

if you mean the first picture:

eh ... reporting bugs with non-esf-models and non-esf-maps ?!?!?! I can't see anything wrong

second image:

eh ... I think it was a stupid bug ...
I see 2 possibilities for it
1. the pings of both were huge and the missed (don't think so)
2. from the perspective you cabn't really see, if the beams really touched themself ...

for the pings, they were bots...

this happens for every powerstruggle u have.. the beam BENDS back towards you.. u might not see it all the time because you're behind the beam ur shooting.. but when you look at a PS from the side, it bends back and the beam heads dont even touch..

that's already "reported" ... one question to you ...
what do you think is harder to code ??? that you're going on the side, or you stay in middle ???

it's coded so because you should can see where you're aiming at ... but think is only if you're really in the middle of the beam ...

actualy that would be due to hit box detection and so on

makes it hard for attacks to be centered on a person

i hope the fix it, it looks really dumb, ps should should be like the show, 2 beams collide in the middle and it decreases length when you loosing getting closer and closer to you

eh ... if you explain it so ... then ... IT IS SO

2 beam collide there, when both head touches themself ... and the winner presses the beams towards the looser

o_o *Scratches head* I think you posted in the wrong thread kid

Soccer's idea is probably the best thing to do for a ps, but it sounds like it would look cool which probably also means it entails a lot of coding (everything thats cool seems to entail serious amounts of coding)

But another question comes about, what do you do when the beams don't hit straight on, they hit at angles sometimes and then it would look quite funny, also (this should be in the suggestions and im sure it is somewhere) the beams in a ps should follow their trail back to the person firing rather than the direction the winner fired their attack
