u open it with esf if you got somepractice.dem(
www.angelfire.com/pro/kyle69/somepractice.dem)put that in your esf folder.Go in a multiplayer game or into console on main part and goto console and type playdemo somepractice

there is a program which makes .dem files into .avi
and u can watch them like a movie...
But i dont know whats that program called though....

fraps will convert any opengl driven game into an uncompressed avi. Take the demo first though because fraps will make your computer chunk like no other.
