Am pretty sure i read a discussion about that somewhere. Well, from what i remember, the answers no. Too much debris would cause too many calculations (and annoyances) finally causing the Devs Heads to explode. And we wouldn't want that... would we?Do those pieces of the arena become entities and cause damage if they hit someone?
Amazing stuff as usual. Thx for all your efforts.
I don't think it would be that hard, I think this could even be done by raycasting.Am pretty sure i read a discussion about that somewhere. Well, from what i remember, the answers no. Sending entities to random direction and checking player-entity touch for damage? Not that hard, but useless and not efficient since it would require to create many entities which cause FPS drop.Am pretty sure i read a discussion about that somewhere. Have you ever played garrysmod ? try spawning enough entities to make your fps drop, it'll drop fast.I don't think it would be that hard, I think this could even be done by raycasting.
And I also don't think this isn't the first time about 256 entities are being tested for collision
Correct. Its all particle effects.these are just planes with a texture, no sophistacted stuff.
