Are you kidding me? This is the best thing that's not happened to Pokémon in a long time.

It certainly beats having a new iteration every 6 months adding another 200 critters.

That's what's confusing. Several grown-ups treat the idea like it can be seen as something serious. Kind of disgusting, to say the least.
I like the idea of taking original content and putting a different spin on it, like this movie trailer does by making it look more realistic and serious. And like the Ninja turtle movies, compared to the cartoon it was made to be more realistic and serious... Im pretty sure Raphael cusses a few times in the first one, lol.

I was never really a pokemon fan, but I can appreciate it when film writers make movies and stick to the script when it comes to taking a series or otherwise, and making a movie out of it.

I'd watch it for the lulz.

DB: Evolution reminded me that I don't even lose 1/100th of the time and effort to watch the movie, as it takes them to make it.

Um....probably, because everyone is comparing the movie to the series, which makes it God awful.....but as a movie, it was bad too....couldn't follow it, and the sfx could have been way better...

The only thing I couldn't follow was the way they pronounced Oozaru sounded weird and I didn't realise it was the ape form of saiyans till Goku transformed in the end.

Other than that, it was cheesy and lame and hella hilarious. Would watch it again, but would probably not pay for it.
