Ill be honest I think you are by far one of the best texturers ever because that model in the comp. looks nothing like pikkon yet this texture really brings out the pikkon in it... Though I agree it does make him look older...

There are some harsh lines here and there especially the eyebrow ones, you should try and blur them a bit imo. And the thing making him look old is the over defined "nose" area, meaning those two side lines. Other than that I'm really impressed, keep it up.

The younger Pikkon looks much better... lol
The blacks spots on his head kinda bother me, looks kinda plain.

I liked his Pikkon in the competition and it looked alot like Pikkon.

Lines are way to harsh, looks to 'drawn on'.

Polish it up, blur the edges of the lines out like there's some shadow happening and apply the same lighting to the black spots as the rest of his head, the lines around his lips look a tad, i dunno. unatural. Oh and sharpen his eyes up heaps.

I actually like the 'drawn' feeling. It gives the characters a more cartoony/anime feeling instead of looking life like. So don't blur those lines, and keep them as they are now.

The only thing I'm not sure of...are the spots on his head black or dark green? I can't seem to find a good picture of his head from the anime.

The black spots are only for a layer working area, the black spots will be much detailed and the dark area from his lips remade it
After I finish a rige that I started and is is almost done


I'm sure the black spots from his head are dark green but I will have a look further before to touch the pencils
And I think there is no point to release this bud since you'll have a better pikkon
