two murals at my high school. both of them are 6x28 feet done in acrylic paint
and sorry i posted links instead of images. the ones i have will stretch the tables and im sure no one likes that..... so to make it easier please just visit the links.
these are just photos. i had to take pictures and stitch them together, so they don't look as great as in person.

first one, i did two years ago.

second one, i did with angela. (last year/this year) it was mostly her design, and it was mostly my painting.

a year makes a big difference.....

f*cking ****. honestly. its ridiculous how much time i spent on this and im still not F*CKING DONE! i say this is 80%. ill get the last 20 next week or the week after, meanwhile im freakin TIRED of this and all the goddamn hw i have to do, and how lazy i am, so im posting... a medium/big version for you guys to see................... when i actually finish this piece of **** ill post a really big one.

yes,,, thats right. its NOT done. i have a lot of things to fix since like the orange hair guy's hand isnt done, his hair isnt done.... etc etc a lot of things arent done.

---------------------------------------------------------------
today i was bored in class.... so i started drawing. took 30 min. no reference.
but then i asked my SENSEI, (of course its angela) and then corrected a few errors digitally and added on a rough sketch of his body in photoshop. that took an extra 7-10 min.

hopefully ill start doing more portraits, faster and better. havent done one in months.

--------------------------------------------------

another... thing i started during class and took to my dorm to finish. i decided to take my time and render this nicely. used little to no reference (just need to figure out how to do the lips cuz im not very good at them). added teh body in PS, rest was done using a 0.5 mechanical pencil and a kneady eraser.

i lost track of time though.... i'm going to guess it took 2-3 hours cuz... i had to add on to the contrast by darkening some places over and over and then i cleaned the sketch up in PS. ill try to render faster with fewer mistakes... the lips still look funky to me. hope you all like it. :) i tried my best to make it look like she didnt get hit by the ugly stick.

wow, what can i say? they're all beautiful! D:

i really love the top painting, even though its not finished the quality, composition and colours are all very very nice, the only thing im sure about is the ammount of light on the subjects opposed to the amount of light in the background. Anyhows, i really like it, i'd like to put it up on my wall ^_^

The second one is pretty nice still, only problem i see is that to the left of the nose everything looks a little out of perspective, other than that its pretty spot on =] the Bottom one is really amazing, i really love those eyes, i wish i cud draw girls eyes like that :(, anyhow, i think the reason you think the lips look a bit weird is cuz the top lip is so dark in contrast to the bottom lip. Also the hair looks amazing, along with the rest of the shading in the picture.

Nice stuff, its good to know you dont forget about here =P keep it commin.

hmm... i noticed that a lot of nicely painted deviations dont really have a lot of people that smile.... so i decided i need to work on various expressions, especially smiley ones! i needed a few references only for the eyes and smile on this one so i can get a feel a natural looking expression. i hope it looks okay this time..... eventually ill be able to do this without any references. :)
it's not supposed to look like anyone in particular, but... i think she .. looks a teeeeny bit like kirsten dunst. i dont know.. maybe. i dont think it suits my style... going to have.. to improve that some how.

3 hours (i had the tv on the entire time... very distracting. :p )
mechanical pencil
