Bleh, I dont mean to sound depressing or sad, but I cant
help it, its kinda my thing sometimes, But doesn't anyone here
ever think about Life? How are we here, Why are we here? And
why we're surrounded by limitless darkness known as "Space".

When I think about some things in this life time, I wish I wasn't
born in 1984, Everything is too predictable, so predictable that
sometimes I think im psychic, Its like when im hearing a conversation
on the radio, or hearing people talk on TV. I know what their going
to say... But even if I were psychic, I wouldn't know how it'd feel,
I dont even beleive in psychics, But the only thing that interests
me is what is outside of this planet... The Black Hole, The Asteroid Belt,
The sun... If there truely is no Gravity in Space, Why is it that the
Sun, which is burning more than hell, why would it remain the shape
of a ball? I cant imagine a solid object staying round for so long
without turning to ashes at that kind of temperature.

Does the Black Hole lead somewhere? An Alternate Reality? Or does
it just kill you? And speaking of life and death... What is the whole
purpose of living? They say its about gaining experience from life,
but why would you gain experience for if its goinna all come down
to an end, I personally do not beleive in a Heaven or Hell... I dont
beleive in a God or a Devil. I dont beleive in Magic or Science, I
just beleive in whats real. But I dont know if what im viewing with
my own eyes these days is real... Sometimes I think im the only
diffrent person on this planet, because I have never met anyone
who thinks like me, everyone else is too busy watching TV or going
on about in the streets, just being... "Social". Dont get me wrong,
sometimes when I dont think about it I am the same, but even
when im not thinking about it, this thought stays in my mind...

Anyone got theory's/Opinions?

the sun is a gigantic ball of gas, gravity is pulling all of that gas to a center point. it hasnt turned into ash because i supose the solid part is being pulled under the gas part.

there are theorys about black holes that are rather confusing. it is said somewhere the each black hole has a matching white hold in another universe/dimension. the black hole sucks in matter, and the white hole spits that same matter out.

i have a few of my own theorys on time travel and light speed and all of that stuff but its too early and i dont have time to type all that out.

Even so, Fire doesn't last forever.
So how can the sun last for so long... Bigger question, if you
say its full of some sort of Gas. Whats keeping it from just exploding?
Thats like throwing a lit match into jupiter, I dont think Jupiter will
become a sun, it'd probably blow up immediately... But who knows
what kind of Gas jupiter has, could be flammable or not.

But thats all just based on Theory's, we dont even know if it
is gas. We just know its some sort of non-solid/non-liquid type of
energy. Everything we know is all just based on theory and logic.
We just asume that seeing is beleiving, we have yet to understand
how the brain works. How we become Delusional. Or Imagine things,
or how dreams are triggered. How hypnosis works. Even though most
Theory's hold a truth at all ends, it doesn't mean its entirely accurate.
Information fed to us is nothing but junk.

Its like taking history class... Whats the point about learning the
origin of the united states of america? Who gives a crap about
some guy who killed a bunch of indians. Its nothing that will help
improve the future... I wish my life time had more interesting things
to offer.

Um, you are quite mistaken on this one. I would suggest a little reading-up on this matter. To answer your questions:

No, Fire does not last forever, but this is not the same as fire that we see on the earth. This so called fire is a resultant of nuclear fusion caused between 2 hydrogen neuclei to fuse to form 1 helium neucleus... and in some other stars (in their later stages) it is 2 helium neuclei fusing to form 1 carbon neucleus. This is not based on theory, it's a proven fact. The source of the sun's energy is a process of nuclear fusion caused by immense pressure between the core and the outer layer of the sun.

And you ask why would the gas not explode? Because it can't. The form of explosion you see on the Earth for any material is a form of 'combustion' and you require OXYGEN for that sort of explosion. And since there is no oxygen in the sun for combustion to take place = no boom-boom. >_>

Btw, I will not participate in such 'abstract debates on reality', since there are a lot of people who believe in 'other ways' of thinking and personally - I am a scientist, or as close as I can be to one. I do not believe in "unproven theories" - as for such cases, you have no other option but to rely on hypothetical conclusions.

Anyway, I'm out - good luck with this topic. =]

So what you're basically saying is . . . you like astronomy? Good, I like astronomy too. :)

Gravity is the force that binds the universe together; it's the reason we're orbiting around the sun right now. Astronauts appear weightless in space, because they're either too far away from a large body of mass (as was the case with the Apollo crew) or they're in a constant state of freefall (as is the case with astronauts orbiting the Earth.) The idea that there is "no gravity in space" is a misconception, since there is not a single piece of matter in the universe that isn't under the influence of gravity.

The sun is round becuase of a process called "isostatic adjustment." (No, I'm not smart - I looked it up.) Pain essentially described it. A star's gravitational field exerts itself from the centre, pulling everything in towards it. The most effective way of getting that mass as close to the centre as possible is by forming a sphere.

All of this stuff can be found in a book, or online. It sounds to me as if you're just a little uninformed, nothing a trip to googleville wouldn't cure. You can find plenty of info about black holes online, although that's one area I'm sure is mostly theory.

Who gives a crap about some guy who killed a bunch of indians.
A lot of people do. Your indifference is another person's concern.

Many of you questions are allready answered by science. Like groovy explained.

However there's one thing that keeps fascinating me, and as far as I know, also the science world.

The endless universe, there is this one theory I found rather intresting.

I don't know the name of it, but I'm sure you can find it on the net somewhere. It all comes from this one person who tought that we might be part of a bigger being, that the earth is no more then an electrode part of a atom, wich is part of a giant molecule, wich might be part of something big. Our solar system does have a lot of similarities with the way atoms are build, and so are other solar systems. It might be a type of atom that's just totally unknown for us.

That could answer a lot of questions, like one, who or what created the universe. However, if we are part of something much bigger, it bring up even more questions, for instance, who created them/that?

Another answer to a question that's asked many times comes up here; what's the meaning off life? Well, according to this theory, we're nothing more then creature's that live on an electrode, in other words, we mean nothing, so there is no meaning of life. We just got lucky (or maybe we had bad luck, I'm not sure) that earth has the perfect circumstances.. if this theory is correct, then we're no more then just mistakes of the universe. Kind of sad isn't it :p

That something just is there is for me hard to understand, then again, that might be one of the limits of my human (inferior) mind.

Either way, knowledge isn't everything, and while you are here anyway, just enjoy your life and make the best of it

gravity exists between everything with mass, so you keyboard has actually got a force pulling it towards you, but the force is so small, it has no effect..... the more mass an object has, the greater the gravitational force it will give, so things like planets have a large enough mass for you to be pulled towards it.... i think :)

As for theory's..... have fun and enjoy yourself, do your best to help others and things shud be fine..... thats my theory

im suprised no one told you this yet. learn history so you dont make the same mistakes as people have in the past.

if you were a cave man, and your cave man buddy leaped off a cliff and was torn apart by the jagged rocks below, you would probably not do the same thing. of course if you werent paying attention you may have repeated that same mistake. see?

history also plays a part in everyday life, and even in upgrading technology, improving medical procedures. you name it, history helps improve it.

I'm an astrophysicist and the reason the Sun doesn't explode or collapse or blow up is because the outward force of it's Fusion reactions matches it's inward gravitational pull.
Black Holes just kill you violently, no doubt about it.
It is not for sure if Time Travel is possible or not but it is more likely that it is possible.

Perhaps should believe in God concidering many scientists are coming to the conclusion that a super natural force had to create the Universe which is somethng you seem to be highly interested in.

You are definitly right. Looking at the equations of relativity and the fine balancing of the forces and matter I have no doubt that the Universe was created by God.
I know this sounds a bit stupid but seriously there is some weird coincidences in the laws of physics. If gravity was 0.0001% stronger the Universe couldn't support life, for example.

I don't think about life, things can get depressing if you do that, I just let things go as they are, and do what I want, I don't mean "do as I want" in a rebelious way, I mean that if I like somthing I will do it, and vice cersa.

Heres a little summary of a quote: History helps people not repeat it.

Well you cant repeat history. History is taught to you because you cant go back (in theory) and change it. It also is taught to allow you to move forward.

We have made trips to the 5th dimension.
Each dimension is a sort of time travel.
1st - 3rd Dimension is how we think. Since there are 6 basic known dimensions and we can only on average think to the 3rd and look at volume and mass etc only on the 3rd dimension, it means our minds have not adapted to the 4th dimension. The 4th dimension means you are perfect in the state of mind. Only 1 person has hit that mark and that is Doctor Hawking. His way of thinking is probably more advanced than anyone in history. Ever meet him? If not, you should :) The 5th dimension is the way our bodies are able to be transported. We have made machines in which we have sent a lead bullet through solid glass by a way of magnetic energy. There were experiments on it. It was very remarkable. The 6th dimension means that the human mind and body are both perfect in a sense. Since no one has even began to thought about it, it is left alone for theory at this time.

Please note I have summarized, so I have skipped over alot of things, so dont miscontrue on what I said. I just stated a summary of what I do know.

Those experiments didn't use another dimension they used a property called quantum tunneling, which uses Subspace.(Something that would take 50 pages to summarize) The dimensions are:
1st:Foward and back
2nd: Side to Side
3rd:Up and Down
4th:Back and forth in time
5th:Called Tripward and Trapward. Nothing exists in this dimension as it is too small except electro-magnetism, it leaks into our Universe from here.
6th:No Name. Nothing exists in this dimension as it is too small except the weak nuclear force, it leaks into our Universe from here.
7th:No Name. Nothing exists in this dimension as it is too small except strong nuclear force, it leaks into our Universe from here.

The universe as we know it could be some little atom or cell or electron etc in some gigantic, higher... thing. God might exist. Or something else might exist, that triggered everything, that has absolutely nothing to do with "God" as people perceive it. You could in fact be a slimey, alien creature and the world as you know it, right now, could be simply a dream which your incredible imagination as somehow created while you're in a comatose state after a space-ship accident. You could be a little farmed human, like in the Matrix

I have no opinion on life and reality I guess. I simply live, and accept things as they are. Questions like these cross my mind now and then on some sleepless nights, but I try not to dwell on them, because honestly nothing can come from these questions but confusion and annoyance. Is it wrong to search for the answer? Of course not. But me, whatever I am, wherever this is... you get the idea, I consider it a waste of time. I'd really rather focus more on my own existence, whatever that is, and keeping that in check.

The most obvious solution is most often the correct one. But at least you have an active imagination.

That depends entirely on what you think is obvious. Maybe the spaceship thing, to me, is very simple and is an as plain as day truth for me. If I followed Occum's Razor on every problem, there'd be some wrong answers, and sometimes they're important, which is why I wait for my decisions.
