newbie question, <how to add models>

sorry, i'm guessing i have to make the folder in models with the name of the model or somethign then chuck the .mdl file in there but im not sure and dont' want to mess anything up. Help would be greatly appreciated. I'll check again for some kinda quick guide onthis but i didn't see one earlier.

no dont do that
lets say youve got a goku model you would extract it to the c:\sierra\halflife\ESF\MODELS\GOKU
the caps are the important ones, you should always backup the other model though, just in case you dont like this one

oh so i gotta replace the old file? k. oh and i got a ssj3 goku, so i wouild put that in the ssj goku folder then right? and that'll work?

yes and for frieza and those sort of charas its like frieza2,cell2 i think that thats what thier trans models are in

ok thanks for the replies. The normal goku model worked. but when i put the ssj3goku in the ssjgoku folder what happened was it changed back to the original goku witha ssjglow :p , and yea i removed the old ssjgoku file from there and replaced it with the ssj3goku. Not to sure where i went wrong there.

yea and i just did the same thing replacing the ssj3goku with the ssjgoku i downloaded and that one actually worked. So maybe i have to do something different with it?

well ... i'm gonna try changing the name of the ssj3goku file to ssjgoku and see if that works. Thanks for the earlier help btw.
