Don't forget about unlockable characters. They probably won't announce who those are, so we may still be pleasantly surprised.

There are actually quite a few restrictions to who can be in the game. All third party characters are limited to games that have been on a Nintendo platform, and only a few (ie. 2 or 3) third party characters are gonna be in the game.

So with the limited space, only a few characters really have any good chance of being in. My guesses are Sonic and Megaman, but who knows who will be in it.

Yeah, well the Budokai series have all been on the Gamecube platform, not to mention they hosted all the Legacy of Goku games. Even on the NES, Dragonball got it's video game start in "Dragon Power" and there have been countless SNES DBZ games. DBZ has a long legacy on Nintendo platforms.

Personally, I think it'd suck to have DB/Z/GT chara(s) in SSB. It just doesn't fit. It's about video game characters battling it out, not manga/anime characters. It just seems to clash with the SSB formula.

I would personally love to see Megaman, or ZERO, but the latter will probably never make it in favor of the Blue Bomber. o:

Megaman? I heard Sonic and Banjo-Kazooie have the best chances of getting in. Megaman, in my opinion, doesn't seem like he would make it in. They're only adding about 1 or 2 more third party characters to the game. You should see how many people have voted for Banjo-Kazooie to be in the game. Even though the character is part of Microsoft now, with all the attention it's getting, they might just get him. Megaman, though, doesn't seem like he has that big of a chance. There are characters who more people want, like Chrono, Banjo-Kazooie, and Cloud. No one knows though. We'll just have to wait and see.

Personally, I think Banjo's a really stupid character. He doesn't strike me as a character that kicks ass, but more like something you would see as a plush in some girl's bedroom. >_>

Megaman would kick ass. He's got plenty of moves and abilities to choose from, so I can't imagine why it would be a bad idea to include him. Plus he's got a million fans, it would be a good idea to include him. It would make the game, and the Wii itself, seem more attractive in the eyes of Megaman fans, which might lead to more sales.

I'd like to see Chrono or Cloud though. But not freaking Banjo. -_-;

It's not like Snake is owned by Nintendo. Banjo has been on two different Nintendo systems, and that qualifies him as a canidate for the third party roster. I know he's part of Microsoft now, but I mean, Snake was only in one Nintendo game (that I know of). If anything, Snake's basically like a character for Sony, but they still got him. I don't know, people were talking about how Banjo could still be in, even though he's part of Microsoft. I'll post the link to the forum on here once I find the link.

Banjo in the game wouldn't be cool. If they added someone like Sonic, I could understand that, but Banjo just doesn't fit the game imo.

I'd rather see Zero in over Megaman. Using a sword has much more skill to that of a blaster. Don't get me wrong, creating a blast that can destroy anyone on the screen is awesome. But Zero just kicks more ass.

If Samus is pretty much losing her suit, I can see Megaman becoming a clone of the old Samus.

Maybe Megaman's down+B attack can be like Zelda's. He warps off stage and Zero takes his place like in one of the Megaman X games (forgot which one). That would be sex =X

Its already been confirmed that you will still be able to play as normal Samus.

Haha, I ignored it for some reason.

Nintendo did not by SEGA, they just stopped making consoles and made games for multiple platforms, but prefers Nintendo and vice versa.
