Nothing special. DT hyped it up so much that it's really not all that great. Especially since it's not what I thought it was going to be like. Oh well.

Well, if the old one sucked bigtime, this one plainly sucks.

Imo the best auras for any dbz game would be these, from zeq2.

i like the new esf compared to zeq2 because zeq2 is a sprite and it grows larger than smaller larger than smaller

That zeq2 aura on there is an old one. They have a new one which is far better.

The point I was trying to make it.. This was made in 3D not sprites. Yeah we could have done it using sprites and what not, but thats up to the coders if they wanted to do it. Since they didnt want to, I made my own 3d model :)

not to be mean or anything, I dont really like those aura pics from Zeq2, pretty much looks like a zig/zaggy circle. Im sure it looks different now, but from what I see. Dont really look how it should be. :\

I'm not dissing you. It's just... I can hardly see it. I have yet to see it "flow" It just looks like lines that go up. I see no flowing. I looked for an aura of what I like what i was talking about when you made that thread about the new aura but i haven't found it yet. I still say you hyped it up to something it's not. It's great that it's a model and all. But it's just not what i had expected.

1-A high quality clip

I Agree w/ fire. I think it would look nice if you can do an aura like the one we have now, but instead of spinning moving upward.

edit: Alea, theres another video on esfworld showing the player swooping.

I like it, beats the old one hands down, it reminds me of the Budokai 2 aura a lot, i'd like to see you alter that for a new powerup animation.

And about the ZEQ2 aura, it doesn't look like the show apart from the cel shading, just a rough, spiky oval, this one is 3D, flows and is damn cool.

One question, does it cause much of an FPS drop?

I guess you guys missed the little extra in that Esf-World clip. Where theres close ups of the new models.. I guess you guys didnt notice.. hehe. And how I used piccolo in both to show off the cape to. lol.

No i've seen all the videos you made. And I could hardly even see the aura. I'll give you advice on how i think it would make it better but i doubt anyone cares, cuz apparently everyone but me and hybrid love it.

1. make it more noticeable

2. if it's going to flow upwards make it wild, much like fire.

3. make it look like shards of the aura if breaking apart and flowing up. sort of like what you captured now, but don't go back into the aura, and move in a zig zaggy rotation upward. I will look for a clip to show you. I think if you can pull off what I'm thinking in my mind, it would blow all other aura's away. I think Hybrid knows what I'm thinking of as well.

i definently agree with hybrid and fire. the aura should be very obvious like on the show. it needs that powerful look to it. i dunno.. with it so hard to notice it looks kinda weak.

I think the quality of the video also makes the aura look kinda faint, but it wouldnt hurt to make the transparency a little less.

i like the aura but yeah its to faint and how come it looks like hes powering up....and one other thing though this might be a bit off topic for ssj2 will there be lightning effects around the body like in the show?

I completely agree with phoenix here. I also believe the best way to make a DBZ arua is to make it look as if the character is on fire. If not this then just go with more visibility.

Heh I junt noticed this but it is a box at the feet of the player, You can see it if you look at this,
look at Cells feet, also i agree, the aura should be more flame and flow fater in SSJ form and bits should also break off the aura and fade away (Just a thought)
