Needing Free Domain?

Since this has to do with Earth Special Forces, I'm adding this in the ESF Chat section. I'm seeing a lot of addons, plugins, etc websites all dead & down. So, if any of you needs a free domain, i can get you guys one. I think a lot of you are already quite familiar with the HL2Files Free Domains. I'm just here to help out.

I'll edit this thread when i get at school, I'm in a hurry at the moment. If any one is interested, just reply here or Private message me.

Sure, they're both 'A records', but it's not a full-fledged domain.

I'm just wondering, I'm pretty noob to this domain stuff. This is going to be a sub domain right? And we do our stuff on it through FTP? I only had a domain once for like 2 monthes, sorry if I'm asking stupid questions.

Yea, it will be a HL2Files Sub domain, like XXX.HL2Files.com (xxx = your website name / whatever here). And things can be fully controlled with Cpanel and FTP.

owell, i allways take domains who are for free and with a double dot ending, like .de.vu or even only .tk

also theres alot of free host over 1 gb and else, without pop ups, but some even dont allow more then 1 mb upload or else.

No, there are no pop-ups at all.

Afraid so, yes. But it is above 400kb, and only counts for public files.

Here is what you get:

- http://xxxxxxx.hl2files.com and http://xxxxxxx.halflife2files.com subdomain of your choice, or your own domain name if you have one.

- A Link in HL2Files.com's left menu.
- CGI supported
- PHP supported
- MySQL Database(s)
- POP3 Accounts
- Custom forums provided by Gaming Forums (on request).

With permission from FN Hosting (the HL2Files.com administrator & site manager) the mod team leader can have access to HL2Files.com's Files and News section to post Files and News directly!

In return, here's what we ask:
You must have a "hosted by HL2Files.com" button on your site on every page. You can use our button or it can be of your own creation. (which is not that bad)

The site has to be done or almost done before you can apply for hosting. This is so we don't end up hosting a site that is under construction for 3 months and then canned, as has happened in the past.

For all your Files / Downloads that are bigger than 400 KB, have it added to HL2Files.com and link to the appropriate file.info page instead of hosting the file in your webspace. (does not counts for private files)
