Need this fixed fast!

I have a 2mb connection, and all the other hl mods i have connect to servers fine, but when i try to conect to an esf server it says after 11seconds could not connect to server,it times out,help plz!

Are you on a network doing internet sharing or on a Router or firewall? if so, these might cause a problem.

Nope im on none of those, what else could be doing it

did you buy half life and are using your own cd key? ive never encountered this problem but your problems may be caused my an invalid cd key, or you and the other person whose cd key you may be using, are probly trying to play online at the same time. try updating the server list, and suing the right filters, or reinstall esf. thast all i can think of. :]

thanks for the help but i fixed it already, the server list was out of date and i was trying to join servers that dont exist lol
