Need help getting ESF onto Steam

Ok I bought Half Life 1 from Steam and have played it. I then started the ESF 1.2.3 installation and the 'Install' button was perfectly clickable. It installed and I now have the desktop shortcut and everything else. But, when I click on ESF's shortcut it activates Steam, and I look on the 'My Games' List and I only have Half Life, CounterStrike and Condition Zero. I'd have thought that ESF would have been there too :S

I am guessing that I have to activate it with my Half Life CD key, but once I'd bought it from Steam and downloaded it etc, it hadn't given me a CD key. I wrote down the 'Authorization code' and the 'Confirmation code' and I didn't think that either of those were the CD key.

Please Help!

Just so we're clear.

You have Half-Life 1 and not Half-Life: Source?
You installed into Half-Life 1 and not into CS by accident?

If you can play your HL1 you should be able to play ESF right off the bat after you install. Have you tried restarting Steam?

Yep its Half Life 1, and ive just restarted Steam twice and its in my games list now, thanks alot
