When people post about mod, its usually about a mod that they are starting.
In said post, they're asking for help....essentially using the forums as some sort of Help Wanted page..

This is different, this is just letting people know about a mod that already exists and will be released within the near future.

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread, but there have been some real updates to NS this time. The update is that in less than a week the manual for NS will be released and it will only be a matter of time until the actual mod is put up for downloading. Basically, NS is going Gold.

this is not a dead thread. one time (2 weeks) many ppl will post about this mod. because then it is out!!!

one week after the manual release there will be the real release.

i hope ur post with " in one week manual" is true

Anyways ya the mod looks sweet. Its really good its amazing that they coudl push the engine so far by its limit not many mods have done that.

In other news, NS is on the verge of going "gold". Normally this term is reserved for software that gets printed on media, but the term works here as well. The team hopes to have everything finished up within a week or so. At that point, the release date will be announced, the manual will be released, and a trailer movie will also be available for download. The file mirrors will be lined up, then the countdown will begin...

I can't blame you for being skeptikal, this is an incredible mod and its hard to believe its so close to release.

oops sorry dorn I just couldnt see any new updates because I change my date to feb 2002 so i could play that trial for hunting unlimited again wow i didint know it'd do that o well i still shot a deer in the eye that was pretty fun
