You're not understanding, I'm not saying it's ONLY the transformations, it's everything, the transformations, the "other world", the dragonballs, the things that don't make sense. Like that Goku never wished back his father to see what he was like or something. Or in DB, Roshi's master loses to Piccolo, Piccolo loses to Goku, Then Goku loses to Roshi's master. o_O Everything about dbz is stupid like that.
You have to look at it as this certain character had the strategy to beat this certain character, but this character's strategy didn't work against another character. Some characters will not as be as strong as they are portrayed or some characters lose there strength or strategy fighting another character. The dragonball/z/gt series was nothing but uncertainty, you never knew who would step up to take the crown of victory.

That's why I like it.

When you first watched DBZ, you couldn't predict anything (unless you had previous knowledge) so that made the anime interesting. You would think "hey, if this guy can beat this guy, then he can definately beat that guy"

and then... your assumption would be proven wrong, adding to the entertainment value. Most people hate dbz these days just because it's a fairly old anime. Naruto is new, so i guess you can't really compare them in the aspect of plot strategy. You can compare them on character development though, which has Naruto far ahead. There both good animes imo, so I think you can compare them each on how good they are as well.

Actually, I've seen all the way up to 75, knowing that, I CAN say, that Naruto has a better plot than dbz.

might not make sense to you, because it's an anime, and most anime's dont make sense, because they are all fantasy

Well that's just plain wrong, most anime's make sense because they are usually very well written. Plus if you are at all familiar with Japanese cinema, most plots require you to figure some things out on your own, that's why some people have trouble understanding them; it's not spoon fed to the audience.

Animes are just another form of entertainment... finding ways to suprise and intrigue. You have to imagine a board meeting of writers and influencers working on animes such as DBZ or Naruto. These people put their heart into their work, proving that all animes have souls themselves. These "souls" are what each person believed would have been best for the entertainment value.

An anime will always make sense if you actually "try" to understand it, read between the lines, and make an assumption. Any series is there to keep you on the edge of your seat, making you wonder what is going to happen next. Naruto and DBZ are no different, developing beliefs that or either enforced with triumphent tone or broken with bells of misfortune.

It's really up to you, the fan, to pull what you feel the anime was about. Whether negative or positive... your are entitled to your opinion.

Ok? But that doesn't EXACTLY apply to Dbz, because you know none of the good guys are going to die, because of the dragonballs. And even the bad guys that died are seen again later. That's what we're talking about with the difference of Dbz and Naruto.

But didn't you notice that the wishes decided who would be brought back?

It required them to think of how they would use each use, the combat and deaths would lead up to them having to use the dragonballs. That's why it's called "Dragonball" Z. There journeys and conflicts caused them to use the dragonballs, or defend them. The show was built around the idea that they "could" use the dragonballs for their personal benefit.

Every wish was the same though, bring back this world, bring back everyone killed by him, bring back our friend, that's what it was pretty much everytime, it just got boring too fast.

Yeah, I just noticed how much I've posted on this thread, but I don't have time to stop and breathe when I'm hyper and talking about anime.

the characters in DBZ are really just plain fighters... You can't call flying around like superman and charging up and shooting beams martial arts... While Naruto is also pretty daft, it definetly has a flavour of martial arts in it.

Yeah I guess you're right, they are both martial arts, but they're sooo different types of martial arts.

dbz is power ups and wishing. naruto is history and a continuation of never endering clan wars.

it's obvious that goku would beat naruto, that's something you can't question.

I can question it, what if Naruto killed Goku while he had the heart virus >:D

Anywas -.- it IS obvious that Dbz could kill everyone in Naruto, but Naruto guys aren't super human fools that can fly at 12321231321m/h who go to different planets and wish back their friends. So.... yeah....

if naruto would have tried to kill goku when he got the heart virus, it woulda probably been him that gets kicked in the head by vegeta instead of #19. A kick in the head at like 200mph would most likely kill any normal person.. lol

it's fairly obvious that DBZ would win the battle, considering they can like destroy planets with a punch
