and yes.. blocks. anyone starts with the basics if there smart.

ok.. I wasn't. I started editing straight away, but even now, if I make new parts I do it by editing basic forms.

Just because it's your first model, doesn't mean I can't do drawovers and give crtis. THen you'll never be a good modeller.

Legs to short, learn to model hands/fingers, NEVER use primitives (www.psionic3d.co.uk for best pbp tutorials [imho]), is that a skirt, neck to skinny, eyes to big, no hair.

I can see if my skeleton matches but its nto yet 1.2 compatible. I need time to start on that.

hehe. I was one of the idiots who started without basics. ok, i edited existing models to make mine. (hard to tell huh, its that edited)
point is, I had to RESTART 2 times cause I seriously messed up.
Also I changed a few things on the look in the versions of my model. I must say it was a hard way, ok, I learned faster cause I did not give up, but you start with the basics. And I say thats cool.
