my esf alpha 2.0 won't work

i just got esf 2.0 and i click on it and it says that esf in not a valid win32 application now that takes the piss i am on a 56k modem and i waited days trying to download this. using download accelerater plus pausing then resuming the download and now i get it, it does not work someone give me a good site that gives a good esf site that gives me esf that i can use my download manager on because i can't wait to download the game all at once. please some one give me a good url.;( ;( ;(
