MoTW :: Ready's New Dragon Map

Sorry for the small delay guys, but here's the MoTW (Movie of the Week) of Ready's new map, where a dragon is flying through the map. Pretty nicely made.

I really like how the ilusion of the dragon going underwater is created.

I kinda doubt that it'll be ready for the next OB release. But who knows, maybe DJR will turn into a map making machine and finish it

Yeah such clouds would definitely be great but they would 1. dramatically increase the e_poly count and 2. would be a real pain to animate since HL has no vertex weight for bones.

Everything shown in that small video is the background/3d sky. There is nothing of the actual map there to see
Gonna post some screenshots of the whole map in the force pit sometime soon

The map is almost done, except lighting and some other details.
I'm not sure if I'll put it into the OB though

well those clowds have abbout 998 pollys, didnt bother of makeing them lower cuz its was enough to get the ideea, i can make another one lower if u want to use them

and it wold look better if u made the shenron model fly separet rater than bits of him on the map, i woldnt look like he is endless

hes supposed to look like hes endless, hes the ETERNAL dragon.

when they say eternal, they refere to his age, not his size :|,u can see his end at the base of the dragon balls when hes summoned
