More steam help...

ok so i downloaded a couple hl2 mods and i restarted steam but it didinht show in the games list what happend?

Shouldn't the installer point them directly into Half-Life 2's directory?

some hl2 mods require you to have i belive it was hl2 deathmatch? i think i cant remmeber but some mods require you to have more than just hl2 to play

yea i reset my computer and it still didint help.

well the games are bg 2 ad source forts

Source Forts is mainly for Half-Life 2: Deathmatch but it can work on Half-Life 2.

One thing you can do is run Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch once, and then see if either modification will show up in the list.

Well, it's more of an actual game than a modification.

I'm not sure. I thought it usually comes with Half-Life 2.
