I guess I should post this. Anyway, I've been twiddling with other modeling programs, and have found maya usable o_O

So...after doing only a portion of a tutorial of a head, I decided to give Maya a try on a model I've been meaning to do for awhile o_O

There is no poly limit, because, well, I don't care for one O_O



One Notable thing I need to fix, is the top of the head theres a bit of wasted poly's that I can easily get rid of, and I will... I've just been too lazy to do it =/

The head & Torso is not connected in the middle, so no need to point that out. All it is is a mirror of the left side.

Edit : Even though it is knuckles, the Mecha version only has 5 hair tentacles (or atleast in the references I'm using) If someone seriously says "add more hair tentacles" then I will automatically label you an idiot and steal all your porn cd's and raid your hard drive ( don't ask why, I just will)

I dont know much about it, I have a few games ... it looks good! 8)

dont worry about the poly count though, its really fine, (its the faces incase you didnt know)

Actually, the polycount is the tris -_-

I just exported it and put it into ms3d just to see. It is 1800 (well, 1792 now)

Completed - RAWR!

Wow, that's a nice model. Since you're not bothering with a poly limit, the limit on the polies seems close to HL's poly limit, so it looks like it should still work with HL. Other than all that, I see nothing wrong with the model, and it looks really good. Just needs a really good skin, which I know you're not good at. ;)

you can reduse the polly by making the leg's les rounder, it's thin so you dont nothis the diverends.(only in the pollycound that is =p)
