Making ShortCuts for ESF

1. Copy your Counter-Strike, Team Fortress Classic or for that matter any Half Life Shortcut. Paste it on your desctop.

2. Right click on the new shortcut and go to properties.

3. In the Target Box it should say: C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game "shortcutsgamename". Change the "shortcutsgamename" to esf. If it doesn't say that (without the -console) add it in! Console is very helpful!

4. Go to the comments box below and change it to Earth Special Forces (or ESF, this can be whatever you want it to be).

5. Now click on the change icon button even below the comments box. Go into your ESF directory: C:/Sierra/Half-Life/esf and there should be a logo in there that says DBZ. Choose that logo and hit ok.

6. Now back at your properties menu hit ok to exit. Now rename the letters on the front from "Previous Game Name" to "Earth Special Forces"

Tadaa you made a shortcut! If you want to stickify this you can cause it is much easier than going into another mod then switching over, and it looks cool! Hope this helps .

or when you play Counter-Strike, Half-Life and other mods at the console type: /gamedir esf
and now the game will change to Earth Special Forces...

But the whole point of doing this is to make it so you don't have to go into another game .

*you can add the shortcut to your fast menu to! its just in the right of the START button in windows.. i call it fast menu..
