Making ESF maps.

Can anyone tell me how can i make ESF maps on the easiest way...I tryed with some programs for Half Life but its not good > its very bad...:cry:

There's no easy way to make maps for ESF or any game for that matter.

From what it sounds like, you didn't set up or didn't know how to set up VALVe Hammer for ESF. If that's the case, then look through this thread on how to set it up - http://forum.esforces.com/showthread.php?t=27917

i was making maps for Warcraft 3...i alredy tryed Valve hammer or WorldCraft.
And it will work for ESF?(i mean for the look.Isnt looking like ESF maps at all.)
P.S when i open Valve hammer it says: "No game confogurations are avalible.You must....

Mapping for Half-Life or ESF is a lot different than mapping for Warcraft 3, it's also harder in my opinion.

The "No game configurations" warning is just telling you have nothing set up yet to start mapping. You can find out how to set it up if you look in the thread I linked in my previous post.

I made it everything but only textures...It says that i dont have textures.Where can i find? :cry:
It says: "No textures available.You must set them up in Texture tab..." Where can i find?

There should be some texture files in your ESF folder (they are in .wad format).

The ones for Half-Life need to be extracted from the "half-life.gcf" file found in your Steamapps folder within your Steam directory.

There's still a file in your Steamapps folder called "half-life.gcf" if you downloaded Half-Life through Steam.

As for the site, those textures will work.

As i say i dont downloaded Half Life through Steam...
About the site: It brings me in filefont.com.Then i found this http://www.fileplanet.com/search.aspx?searchtype=2&q=Half+Life+textures
But the problem is from the both sites the files are not .wad files...

You have the wad files.

Hl.wad and ESF.wad

Its impossible to install HL or ESF without those two >.>

I check the CD i dont have any wad file...When i bought ESF there was and Half LIfe...not setup only copy and paste...And ESF only setup.exe >> so i copy and paste Half LIfe in C:/games/Half Life/ and then i install ESF in C:/games/Half Life/ esf/ in all these files there not WAD file!!!
P.S. i just downloaded some cncr04ssourcetexturepack3.rar
But theres not WAD file!!!

All the wad files are in the half life folder as well as the ESF folder, it doesn't matter if you bought the game / downloaded the game.
They are essential files that you need to run the game. (I believe not having them would result in the game not running)
