Everything would probably be solved if we all just stepped back and took a breather. I feel like we should all be friends or at least friendly towards each other. This forum should be about having fun, sharing your hobbies, discussing the latest news, keeping in touch with people you met 10+ years ago, maybe the occasional ESF discussion, that sort of thing. Just a chill laid back forum.
ESF Chat gets a lot of questions asking for updates or information on when the game will be released. Most of these people are either young, or English isn't their native language, or maybe they're just too lazy to search for last weeks thread where someone asked the same question. It doesn't really matter. They're not worth getting upset over. Ideally those threads would be answered by someone representing the forum staff or dev team with a precanned response; Thank them for the interest in the mod, inform them that it is still aliving and kicking, briefly explain that they don't get to post updates / work on it as much as they would like because it's a hobby, and then close the thread. Nothing good or valuable will come from that discussion.
