before you start throwing crits everywhere, im not going to do anything the model (cuz its not mine). and at this point i dont know if dendza will either, he seemed like he was in a hurry when he sent it to me and i aint heard a peep from him since

err, iwouldve been done with the gambit by now but the face is givin me some trouble. poly flow wise. ill likeley have to restart it >_>.

i cant seem to bridge the area between the nose and eyes. my rusty'ness is starting to show through >_>
perhaps you guys can help me, (keep in mind i may restart it anyways)

im simultaneously making a high and low poly model, to generate textures. after im done with the higher poly one im gonna make the textures and delete the unneccasary edges, and pray the skinmaps dont argue about it.

im about to give up on encoding advent children to dvd >_>, it takes all day to do. hogs resources so i cant model.)9why youhavent seen any real updates the last day or so)

and keeps screwing up,

first i accidentally told it to keep the audio and video in one file,

second time it worked fine, but the subtitles came out solid green blocks and were unreadable

third time tmpgenc decided that the file format was unsupported in mid encode, (though it had worked before just fine)

i figure im gonna give it 1 more chance, >_>

i promise you guys i WILL get the gambit finished eventually

lol i said you could use the cut took to form what ever you want after to do it :p do what you like lol nice model

it would take alot more than cutting to shape the brows into the head ^^- nuttz

kk, ive been grinding and grinding on this thing and after many MANY failed heads i decided just to freestyle it and see what came of it, (sorry skiwan =P)



the hair i know is crappy, but i cannot do any better atm, perhaps when (or if) the mod takes off i will further refine the model, but for now im calling him finished.
(the hair actually doesnt look that bad from the angle you would see it at ingame anyways)

ive already skinmapped the head, and i would show you the WIP skin but its crappier than crap atm. i may update you guys if it gets any better

i think you need to pull the chin and lips forward, and move the lips down on the mesh slightly. not much though.

your probabaly right but that would mess with the somewhat clean appearance of the flow of polygons on the face =(. i built it over a fairly blurry reference so i guess ill just blame it on that ^^.

the ears arent even connected to the model, i figured since i always skinmap them as a seperate peice anyways i may as well just build em off the head, then detach them and rebuild the hole in the head. its fairly "unprofessional" but it saved me alot of time, and alot of ugly polys

ill see what i can do with it though, but dont expect anything drastic

he isnt completely skinmapped atm, if you dont mind finishing the rest of it yourself ill just toss it your way the next time i catch you on aim.
