The only ones i can think of now that most people wouldn't have seen would be Popotan, Scrapped Princess and Airmaster

Popotan isn't that well known although Scrapped Princess definitely is.

For Chobits fans, Midori no Hibi might be up your alley, but I can't stand that show.

I haven't seen many people talk about Gungrave, but it's trigun-esque (but more serious) and if you liked trigun, pick that up. It's complete now, 26 episodes.
