lol anyways, I use 3ds max 4 to make models. I already have my model made, but now i just need to animate, and I'm not sure what i need to do. I have the bones set up already by the way. I'd post a picture if I had a website

thanks guys, but theres still the part where i don't understand how to do the animation stuff. Can anyone give me a very small quick explaination? Here's all i know right now about animating. click animate, then select a keyframe and move the bone. Is there anything else I need to know about animating my model, such as the time? Or am I doing this thing entirely wrong?

Tell me if this is too many polys

Best model you have seen? Have you not seen a movie with a guy jumping off a cliff, or a cool realistic-looking dinosaur?

Anyway, the model is good, its just WAY too high-poly. Cut back on the smoothing.

i dunno but this kinda sucks compared to my first one, and i'd rather not show my skinning ability because it sucks beyond reason, and the fact that I don't have them anymore, but I did remodel freiza form 4 today so i'd know how to model, and there is always that cell shaded model I tried out early today too.

yay I'm done!!! LOL!!!!!!!! It doesn't look right when I compiled it. I'll make some screen shots later when i feel like it.

By the way, its not as good as the first, but it works. I'll probably touch it up as time goes on.

erm what does it mean to have too many vertices? I just fixed him up a little bit in some places, and when i tried to compile it says too many vertices. I have 2357 vertices, is that too much?
