Now that i'm revisiting here for the first time in a long time, I might as well show some of my latest works.

Well they're not really intended to look like game characters, just like the anime...

Hey very nice stuff =] I do photoshop drawings as well.. maybe I'll put one up for you to check out if you want :smile:

I like how your drawings are well colored + they have clean lines. Lately I've been trying to figureout how to get "clean" lines and clean coloring on an image drawn in pencil then converted to Photoshop.

Here is one of me failed attempts ^_^ ( Have any tips? )

Well for one if you want to have clean lines you have to create them. Pencil lines will never look clean. What yo do is zoom in on the pencil drawing get a hard brush and draw the lines over using shift to make straight lines. Atleast that's how i make my lineart (if i don't ink it on paper).

Second on your colouring, you need base colours that fill up the whole drawing, use the selection and bucket tool. Those white spots make it look really messy.

Anyway that's my 2 cents, keep going!




On another note here some more new drawings i made.
They're concepts for the fanmanga i'm making.

This is uub going to his buu form. I dub him Buub!!

These are transformations i invented for the nameks. The draconamekians.

What about the coloring now? I just whipped up another drawing

It looks alot more clean now already, gj

Now you just take a soft brush with reduced flow and you apply shading here and there.
But before you do that you should lock the layer you coloured. So you can't colour outside the lines

Also I would give those plants some variation in colour and an overall lighter less saturated colour. They just don't look natural.

I'll give it a go, but I'm looking at yours + mines and your colors seem to POP off the page, while mines look abit flat/dull >.<.

That's because you need highlights too and more contrast in your colours
