Lan Problem

help, i am tyring to play a lan game between two computers i have at home. my problem is that i get an Invalid Steam UserId Ticket. With old half-lfie, i could play two people on a lan game, but with steam, im assuming i can't do that. I bought the half life cd and own teh cd key, no ripped copies. i can't setup a second username on steam using the same cd key. what should i do.

To setup another user just get another email and register it. Then log out, and sign in with the new one. You'll have to copy your mods into the other email's folder as well (if you want ESF on the other account).

Bah hit the post button. For better help use the Steam Forums. They can better solve your problem, and they have solved yours. Find the answer here. If that doesn't work (you don't run dedicated) try typing this into console:

sv_lan 0

Then restart the server.
