Correct, I hate people talking about lag when there ping is fine and the only thing what is wrong are the FPS drops. Lag has nothing to do with FPS.

i need a little bit of umm fps-lag (couldn't think of a word for it) cuz my mouse is way too sensitive, so the fps-lag (couldn't think of a word for it) makes it easier for me to play, but not too much of it. The cl_dusttrails 0 thing however made my fps drop even more though, so I set it to 500, and my fps aint that bad now, excpet in big servers. Also for opengl users, try using direct3d. It makes your fps go up by a lot.
