Yeah, probably. But I don't personally think we'll end up having that problem out of them. I haven't heard of either of those companies shutting down any DBZ fan projects before.

-Supposedly-, bid for power(I think it was) got a C&D letter, but I think the head actually just lied about that so he wouldn't have to continue.

I haven't heard it either, outside of the supposed Bid for Power bit.. but it's always good to know who you should keep an eye on, and who you shouldn't try to piss off in these kinds of situations.

ZEQ2 had to remove all their media from the site. But the project itself wasnt ordered to stop as far as i recall.

@Revan can you link to the article itself?

Yeah but didn't bid for power make a stand alone game and also I remember something about it costing money to buy even if it was an insignificant 5 dollars...

IDK if the original was stopped or not, but I know they are working on ZEQII-Lite.

And ESF doesn't so what exactly would be the point of namco or whoever else wanting to waste their money having lawyers and such prepare and deliver a C&D or lawsuit or anything else. ESF is not going to take away any sales from the console market's games. at least not until this arrives. http://www.ign.com/wikis/steam/Steam_Box

ESF uses licensed content that they didn't pay for or get express written permission from the holders of said licenses (I assume). That's a fair reason to come after someone.. just the same as pirating a game, movie or a cd. Sure it's small, petty and the people who DO give you teh muniez will look down on you.. but these are some of the same people that pull down clips of dubs on youtube when the dub is a kid and his mother making up lines that have nothing to do with anything.

I mean, they pay their legal teams to always have them on staff and call.. nothing to really stop them from flexing that muscle if they feel they have to.

ESF either has a guardian angel that refuses to send a C&D letter, or the other mods made the C&D stuff up. At this point it should have happened already.

I guess it'll all depend on whether or not this mod will cut into the sale of other DBZ games just out of pure popularity. I highly doubt it, being a mod, but it's possible.

Nah DMZ continued as a one man team in the end but never did release a steam compatible version, then just kind of died off.

Aside from the constant crashes, I honestly enjoyed DMZ.

They're working on Imperial Legions of The Nix character models as replacements just in case.
