Installing Firearms Through Steam

I installed fire arms into steam by installing it to steamapps/emailaccount/ and everytime i try to join a fire arms server though steam it tells me my .dll doesn't match up. Did I do something wrong?

I dont know but maybe asking this question on the actual firearms forums might result in you getting better answers.

did you put it into your HL folder

steamapps/emailaccount/Half-Life ?

You need to copy fmod.dll into your steamapps/emailaccount/halflife and then it should work.
