Installation gets stuck in a certain file

It always freezes up on gamestart.wav, I even turned off everything I had running. I also noticed the background is of high size and is taking a large amount of memory (move the window around)

How many times do you have to redownload the file before it works?
I did it 3 times now, and still the same @#$!@# problem!

hopefully you didn't download from the same link - try the ozforces mirror, that one worked for me.

well the downloads page is nto done yet.. so I had to find a link for myself.. and I could only find one.. that works.. and well.. corrupted corrupted..

mine didnt say it was corrupted, it just freezed, anyways, im now installing the instal from a dif link, hope it works

its not about corrupt download messages, its about where you downloaded from. Certain download sources have been known to have freezing problems at the gamestartup.mp3 extraction. Download from ESF-World.
