Install problems

Problems so far
1. Spirit Bomb does not form in air...
2. Do not have New Game / Load Game features at start up
3. There are no Dragonballz to collect
4. No EVM things in options for keyboard settings...?

Things I have installed
1. Half Life with Steam
2. ESF 123 c:\program files\steam\steamapps\accountname\half-life\
3. ECX RC2 c:\program files\steam\steamapps\accountname\half-life\
4. BigPack 8.4 c:\program files\steam\steamapps\accountname\half-life\esf

What have I done wrong....

Was I suppose to download other files that I am not aware of...

I have EVM v2.0 pack and patch but they are not installed, because I was under the impression that they were not used when playing ECX...

PLEASE HELP....be specific as possible so I know what you guys are talking about...Thanks!

There is no new game or load game in ESF.

Its a multiplayer only mod. Those 2 never existed.

You only have create server or find server.

ECX doesnt really have any EVM features. It was all redone to be used dfferently.

If you have 9 characters then you didnt install ECX correctly.

If you have 31 characters then you didnt install the big pack correctly.

And if you have 33 characters then you installed everything OK.

As for the spiritbomb. What GFX mode are you using?

I am using the Open GL and have everything set on highest quality when it comes to graphics now...

The spirit bomb forms now, but the explosion is like a fire cracker going off still...LAME!

I do have all 33 characters...

I see the dragonballs but can't pick them up...How do I gather them...?

I looked through the command options but didnt see anything useful

Other than that I just have to get my PL up to transform by fighting...yeah?

Yea fight to get PL.

You cant collect the dragonballs if they are glowing and the specials are now treeted as actuall attacks.
